I believe that every body is wise. Having difficulties thriving given the state of the world, climate, and systemic oppression is an incredibly appropriate and understandable response. It's okay to not feel okay. Being witnessed and heard is often a powerful first step to thriving, as well as being seen as a beautiful person worthy of not only existing but deep fullness of life. This is what I offer. My worldview is rooted in a trauma-informed, intersectional, anti-oppressive lens. I believe in a collaborative approach to therapy and my aim is to empower clients to be an active participant in their therapy with support and guidance.
I use a mindfulness-based approach and utilize present moment somatic experience. I enjoy working with clients wanting support with sexuality/gender/relationship diversity, gender incongruence, exploration of sexual orientation, overcoming sexual shame and/or religious trauma, non-monogamy, body image, self-esteem, life transitions, and anxiety.
I seek to cultivate and hold a space where people can release shame, be curious about and kind to themselves, and live with integrity, purpose, and ease.
