Hello! I am Dr. Nikkita Jackson, an experienced clinician licensed in Ohio with years of dedicated clinical experience, I am eager to build a meaningful and supportive relationship with new clients to guide them on their path to well-being. As a young child, I always desired to help others which sparked my desire to become a social worker/clinician. I obtained my bachelors, masters, and doctorate in social work and I am an independently licensed social worker in the state of Ohio.
My approach is to meet clients where they are, and to empower them to make the necessary changes needed to live a wholesome life. My goal is to empower you and to support you on your journey and to remind you that you can make it against the odds. Those odds are any obstacles or situations that may hinder your progress.
In my practice, I embrace a comprehensive approach that customizes methods to fit the unique needs of my clients. To name a few, I use methods such as: trauma informed care, reality therapy, cognitive behavioral therapy, solution focused therapy, strengths based therapy, dialectical behavioral therapy, and family conflict resolution.
