I believe that the right course of treatment for a client depends on who they are, what they bring into session, and how they are comfortable working. I enjoy helping individuals make meaning out of their experiences, build awareness of self, and have a space to be heard, validated and heal. I feel that a strong relationship between client and therapist is what allows for growth and the deepest level of work to be done. I strive to create a welcoming, non-judgmental, and empathetic space for that purpose.
I have clinical experience working with college students, military members, adults in in crisis, those learning to cope with trauma, people who have experienced sexual violence, and those of us navigating life’s changes and challenges.
My clinical interests include, but are not limited to; interpersonal relationships, anxiety, depression, development of identity, trauma, life challenges, and the somatic experience. I believe everyone struggles at some point in life and seeking help is a means of self-care we all need and deserve.
