My biggest motivator as a therapist is to help clients achieve the most authentic version of themselves. In working with clients, I recognize that each individual is unique and deserving of tailored care. With unconditional positive regard at the foundation of my therapeutic relationships, I inform treatment with neuropsychological research in order to meet the specific needs of each client.
My approach to therapy is based in two major schools of thought- Behaviorism & Gestalt Psychology. Behaviorism examines the effect of external factors on our choices, while Gestalt Psychology focuses on looking at the individual as a whole.
Combining the two has allowed me to develop culturally competent, evidence based treatment modalities that encourage compassionate processing of life experiences, relationships, and deep introspection of our wholeness.
