My mindset is everyone is doing the best they can with what they know. With a curious mind and multicultural lens, I help make meaning of your experiences, shed light on what exists outside your awareness, and help you learn new ways of feeling connected and loved.
In therapy, I want to know the patterns. I take time to understand family background, relationships and community, and life events. I believe all behavior serves a purpose, and we discover how our behaviors both serve and do not serve us. I ask thoughtful questions, identify patterns, and offer feedback to help change what's not working for you.
