Welcome! My name is Nicte-Ha and I am a Licensed Professional Counselor with over 18 years of experience. I have experience working with children, couples, families, and individuals. I particularly enjoy helping people overcome feelings of depression and anxiety. I offer faith-based counseling. Tambien ofrezco terapia en Espanol. Since my approach is mostly Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), you would often hear me asking, "What are you thinking?" I believe, in most cases, monitoring the way we think is a way to manage problems. Also, I am trained in EMDR.
I honor my client's life stories by actively listening. Eventually, I take notes to prevent myself from interrupting and to remember more accurately what is discussed in therapy. Each client has a different goal for their treatment. Therefore, "Success" and "Progress" are usually measured by each client.
