Often times our difficulties happen in interpersonal relationships and then we are uncertain of how to make sense of this and cope effectively. This is where I come in as your therapist to guide back to your authentic self and help untangle your feelings so that you are in control rather than continuing on an ineffective path.
I specialize in working with adults and teens who have experienced complex trauma, PTSD, eating disorders, depression, and anxiety. I integrate evidence-based trauma therapies, including, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), AEDP, contextual trauma therapy, somatic therapies, and mindfulness skills.
I approach therapy from an experiential and relational framework to help you engage in a more active, present-focused way, allowing for deeper emotional insight, release of trauma-related tension, and a stronger sense of self-awareness. I believe in the importance of collaborative therapy and providing unconditional positive regard and genuine curiosity.
