With my hopeful and positive outlook on change, I strive to help people achieve a fresh and holistic perspective on their lives. By working collaboratively in psychotherapy, I specialize in helping people heal wounds left by past relationships, establish and deepen relationships with others, develop a better understanding of self, and improve overall quality of life, including decreased stress and anxiety, an increasingly satisfying professional life, and reduction of physical pain.
I am a bilingual (English and Greek speaking), licensed clinical psychologist. My several areas of specialization include working with people who live with chronic physical illness, various women's issues (fertility, pregnancy, motherhood, body image, and STDs), couples therapy, depression, and anxiety.
I work collaboratively in an effort to create a process that fosters a sense of confidence and agency. My intention is to create a safe environment so that genuine emotions may be explored. I listen carefully in an open and empathic manner, with the goal of understanding one's experience.

Nicoletta C Skoufalos's Groups

Women Living with Endometriosis

This is a group for women who live with endometriosis and who want to feel supported, less alone, and like their experience can be shared and acknowledged. Endometriosis is a chronic and painful condition that can cause significant disruption in a woman’s relationships with her self, friends, family and colleagues, and yet is an experience that is often not understood nor recognized. In this safe space we will explore how to navigate uncomfortable conversations around your diagnosis, and manage the many feelings and concerns that can come with living with endometriosis.
