English
| 中文 My approach is rooted in the practices of mindfulness and self-compassion. I integrate a variety of mindfulness techniques to psychology to help people nurture their lives with kindness and awareness, and connect with their natural well-being. My practice is informed by cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), psychodynamic techniques, client-centered approach and Buddhist psychology. My clinical experience includes a range of concerns, including depression, anxiety, trauma, relationships, sexuality, addiction and grief.
I started to explore spiritual practices in 2012 and have attended many meditation retreats since. For several years now, I have facilitated a weekly meditation group, as I value the importance of nurturing and growth in community. I have also worked as a Buddhist chaplain in hospitals and am familiar with contemplative practices in health and healing.
I received my graduate degrees, a Master of Social Work and a Master of Divinity, from the University of Chicago. I am fluent in both English and Chinese. Feel free to reach out with any questions you may have.
