| 中文 My approach to therapy is grounded in mutual appreciation. Through openness and acceptance, we can work together on personal issues you face. I integrate a variety of mindfulness techniques with psychological principles to help people cultivate gentleness, kindness, and openness toward oneself and the world around us. I believe all human beings have the capacity to heal at a deeper level and realize their full potential. I am grateful for the opportunity to support others in developing tools to face challenges with courage, deepen their self-care, and engage with life in meaningful ways.
I began exploring spiritual practices in 2012 and have attended many meditation retreats since. I have been facilitating a weekly meditation group since 2018, as I deeply value the importance of nurturing and growth within a community. I have also served as a Buddhist chaplain in hospitals and am familiar with contemplative practices in health and healing.
My practice is informed by cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), psychodynamic techniques, client-centered approach, and Buddhist psychology. I received my graduate degrees—a Master of Social Work and a Master of Divinity—from the University of Chicago. I am fluent in both English and Mandarin.
