I am honored that you took one of the first steps in the therapeutic process by researching therapists through this site and found me! So, let me tell you a little about myself and my philosophy before you decide if I’m the right person to work with you. As you know, my name is Nicole and I am the owner of Counseling Connection. I chose the name “Counseling Connection” for my practice because I have noticed, throughout my career, that everyone has a need to connect. Whether we like to readily admit it or not, we do want to connect with the world around us, the people in it, and we often want and need to connect with ourselves.
I practice from a strengths-based, systems focused, person-centered and trauma-informed approach, utilizing a variety of therapeutic modalities and evidence-based practices to best fit your needs. I do currently have a wait list, but you are still welcome to reach out to see if we can coordinate schedules or to get a timeframe of when I anticipate openings.
It is important to find the 'right' therapist to support you in reaching your goals because we all have different specialties and strengths. With that being said, if you do reach out and we find that there may be a different therapist better suited to meet your needs, I will help you navigate a referral to another trusted provider in the community.
