I'm not the therapist who is just going to sit and listen, I will get involved. I love "unsticking" clients from the patterns that aren't working for them, helping people feel more confident and less anxious, and I enjoy helping couples communicate better. I have spoken at national and international conferences, edited academic journals, dissertations, books and magazines, and guest-appeared on podcasts and television show. As a state board-approved and AAMFT-approved supervisor, I am passionate about supervising and mentoring other therapists.
