Life can be tough sometimes, and it's easy to feel like you're on your own, trying to deal with all the stress and challenges that come your way. You don't have to go through it alone. I'm here to help you find the tools to build your resilience and face whatever comes your way. Whether it's dealing with traumatic experiences or just managing day-to-day stress, therapy can be a safe, non-judgmental space where you can heal and grow. When we work together, I take a holistic, trauma-sensitive approach that includes mind, body, and brain to help you achieve your therapy goals and become your most resilient self.

I am currently completing my doctorate from Johns Hopkins University School of Education. My dissertation research focuses on understanding the impact of secondary trauma and compassion fatigue on urban public school teachers. I graduated from the University of Maryland School of Social Work in 2004.

I specialize in building resiliency in teams and individuals who work in high-stress and trauma-exposed environments. I have incorporated heart-rate variability training using biofeedback to regulate physiological responses and optimize the parasympathetic nervous system.
