Are you tired of struggling with with depression, anxiety, relationship issues, low self-esteem, grief, trauma or self-harming behaviors? Are you going through a major life transition and need support and guidance? I can provide you with a safe space to build the skills to overcome these problems and move closer to the life you want. My primary strategies draw from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, DBT skills training, Solution-Focused and Strengths Based approaches. We will work together to pursue the goals that are important to you provide you with the skills to accomplish them.
In treatment we will work on identifying what the roadblocks are that keep you stuck in a self-defeating cycle and help you learn coping strategies to break free of this cycle. I focus on building upon your strengths and improving your skills in emotion regulation, distress tolerance, interpersonal effectiveness, and mindfulness and acceptance.
I believe in fostering a deep connection with my clients and helping them feel empowered to enact meaningful change in their lives. I strive to provide a relaxed environment where my clients feel warmth and acceptance. Change can be scary, but I strongly believe that the journey is worth it.
