I currently accept both in-person and telehealth clients. My practice is focused on helping clients gain insight and compassion for themselves and others. I am dedicated to a strengths-based model and work with clients to set obtainable treatment goals and tailor my approach to individual needs and capabilities. I encourage my clients to build healthy new attachments and strong support networks. I closely follow an empowerment model in order to build strength and resilience through self-actualization and positive self-regard.
I have worked extensively with victims and survivors of trauma, most notably individuals impacted by domestic violence. Creating a safe environment and moving through healthy life transitions is a critical focus of treatment.
Using clinical skills associated with Cognitive Behavioral therapy (CBT), narrative, EFT and trauma-focused expressive modalities, I create an environment of safety and respect for the client. I work to help individuals claim a sense of personal power and core strength through the value and authenticity of their own life stories.
