Nicole Massey-Hastings's Groups
Baby....Maybe?
Did you know that most couples, and many single women and men, have questions about whether or not having children is the right choice for them? Even more couples have a lot of questions about what being a parent would look like and how it might affect their relationship. Some people wonder how their experiences growing up might influence parenting a child. Many people also wonder what their child free lives with their partners would look like. Two groups, which are part of a research study, are available: one for couples and one for single women struggling with these questions.
Strengthening Skills for Parents: Disruptive Behav
Do you find yourself confused and frustrated by your child's behaviors at times? Are your child's disruptive behaviors getting in the way of a peaceful home or satisfying relationships? Do you feel like you've tried many strategies and nothing seems to work? Are you worried about your child's future if his/her behaviors continue in this way? Dr. Hastings will help you decode and contain your child's behavior and help you bond with your child. You'll learn practical, evidence-based skills in a supportive group environment with other parents who are struggling too.
Reproductive/Family Formation Trauma
This psycho-therapeutic group is for individuals who have experienced reproductive or family formation trauma (infertility, still-birth, miscarriage, adoption loss, etc.). Dr. Massey-Hastings' expertise in this area will provide much helpful information about how these challenges impact you, allow for processing and making sense of the many overwhelming feelings and thoughts experienced, provide a framework for self-care and boundary setting with loved ones, and provide an opportunity to be heard and connect with a group of people facing similar pain.
