I enjoy working with kids, teens and adults. I have worked many years with middle schoolers, but with kids in general. I work between two of our offices at Optimum Wellness Counseling - Belle Vernon and I am taking new clients at our newly opened Greensburg location. My focus is CBT, DBT and person centered therapy. I focus my sessions on strength based techniques and work to help the client through identifying positive coping skills, mindfulness and grounding techniques. I want to see success and growth for my clients to help them thrive in an ever-changing world.
Specialties are all ages, assisting individuals with help from families if needed through various disorders including: depression, anxiety, grief and loss, PTSD, & various adjustment disorders. I have experience working with kids who have faced trauma, and I am certified in TF-CBT. My newest endeavor is trained in EMDR therapy focusing on trauma.
