I have over thirteen years of experience in the mental health field, working with a variety of individuals across many backgrounds and treatment needs. I enjoy working with teens and young adults with anxiety who are transitioning between phases of life, as well as mothers who are trying to find balance amidst demanding responsibilities. I have been certified in the treatment of trauma and am honored when someone trusts me enough to allow me into some of the hardest moments of their lives. My primary strategy is to provide a warm and safe environment based on kindness and empathic understanding.
I use techniques from Component-Based Psychotherapy, using a trauma-informed approach to treatment. I often incorporate art therapy, prolonged exposure techniques for trauma processing, and provide psycho-education on the mind-body connection. My approach is to build off what is working in your life and find ways to apply strengths to other areas of need.
