Nicole has been a therapist in the Omaha community for over 20 years. She has worked in a variety of settings including home-based services, intensive outpatient for eating disorders, school-based mental health services, and private group practice. Nicole specializes in treating depression, anxiety, insomnia, eating disorders, body image, perinatal mental health, ADHD, trauma, life transitions, LGBTQ+ teens and adults, and women’s issues. She enjoys working with older adolescents and adults.
Using humor and compassion, Nicole draws from a strength-based approach using trauma informed and evidenced-based practices.
Nicole has advanced training in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), and EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing).
For those struggling with sleep, Nicole also provides specialized support through Cognitive Behavioral Therapy for Insomnia (CBT-I). Trained in this approach through the Stanford University School of Medicine, she helps clients transform their relationship with sleep using the approach most recommended by health experts worldwide.
