I am passionate about helping my clients be successful! Many of us have ideals about what we want our lives to look like, fulfilling relationships, a sense of purpose, and a trajectory to reach our goals. And still we get stuck more than we need to. We walk through proverbial minefields trying not to misstep, often due to ineffective communication and behavioral patterns. Where did we learn these? Some genetics, some environment. The result may be depression, anxiety, personality challenges and an inability to experience healthy attachment. Acute or chronic trauma, past or present sometimes adds to the challenge of the life we want.
Movement and nature, boundary work, the essential life skills taught in dialectical behavioral therapy (DBT), and Brainspotting are my areas of focus. I will help you locate your pain and begin to accept where you are and commit to change, a very hopeful place to be!
