| español My approach to treatment is very client-centered - people enter treatment at various stages of readiness and I am here to meet you wherever you may be. I understand the nuances of beginning therapy, meeting a new therapist, setting goals, sharing personal information, and ironing out your biggest concerns - even when you feel unsure. My hope is to help each client unlock their sources of happiness and hope so they can confront whatever challenges they are facing - mood issues, anxiety, substance issues, family dynamic concerns, trauma, interpersonal relationship issues, school-related problems, self-harm, gender issues, etc.
My experience is diverse - I have worked in hospitals, schools, drug treatment centers, non-profits, & community health centers. I’ve also maintained a private practice for the last four years. I have taught undergraduate level courses & speak Spanish, allowing me to specialize in Latino mental health. I’m nearly finished with my PsyD in leadership psych.
