Welcome and thank you for your interest in my services. I work with clients who need assistance with issues such as anxiety, depression, trauma, relationships, life transitions, psychospiritual issues, and other mental and emotional challenges. I believe that we all have the capacity to heal and need encouragement on the path to healing and wholeness. My therapeutic modalities include: expressive art, storytelling, dream analysis, and facilitating a person's spiritual growth. I aim to provide holistic, creative, culturally relevant services for people from all backgrounds.
I am a medical anthropologist and a psychotherapist with over 10 years of experience working with minority populations in urban and inner city environments. My areas of expertise include: trauma, anxiety, depression, life transitions, dreamwork, psychospiritual issues, and cross-cultural counseling. I am an EMDR-trained therapist.
Sessions with me are natural and conversational. I steer conversations to be collaborative and to focus on what inspires you. I allow you to process and explore events in your life but ground you in the essential threads that pertain to your goals. Call me for a free phone consultation.
