Everyone experiences grief and loss, anxiety, depression and other mental health issues from time to time. Sometimes we feel as though these experiences are ours alone. I am here to remind you that these universal experiences can be as natural and welcomed as taking a deep breath. When you start therapy, we will open the chapters of your life that are hard to talk about. Through the use of art therapy, we can create meaning in your mental health needs, and find a way to deal with them realistically and gracefully. I have worked with people of all ages who have suffered grief and loss. I also work with adults, teens and children who suffer from depression, anxiety, trauma, mood disorders, personality disorders and other mental health issues. I specialize in art therapy, using a person-centered and strengths-based approach. I also use CBT, DBT and trauma-informed care.
I believe that art therapy can be healing for anyone. My therapeutic philosophy will aim to overcome obstacles through the power of creative expression and visual communication. I am excited to get to know you and witness your growth. You do not have to be "good at art" to benefit from art therapy. It's about the process not the product. Call me today!

Are you experiencing social isolation during the pandemic? Are you interested in cultivating new healthy hobbies and outlets? If any of this resonates, join us Monday nights for virtual art therapy group. The group will be an open studio model meaning that you bring your preferred art materials, we will bring the topic, group camaraderie and therapeutic safety. During the groups, we will make art together while we process: adult issues, mental health, recovery from addiction, trauma processing, healthy relationships and more. This groups is ideal for busy adults who would benefit from social engagement and a creative outlet.
