Every individual has their needs and wants in life. I work with individuals, couples, or families to achieve goals to maintain a more meaningful lifestyle. My strength is an honest approach so that people know that I am being genuine with them and that I amwith them in the moment. I help people to find out what gets in the way of them being effective in everyday life and help them look to a healthier future. I believe that everyone has the power in themselves to change, and that everyone needs help sometimes to keep moving forward.
I utilize an eclectic approach of different treatment modalities including, but not limited to Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR). I also utilize Gottmans' approach to relationships and couples treatment.
I started Reclaim U Counseling as a way to reach out to a broader community that has a more difficult time asking for help. Reclaim U Counseling is a substance/alcohol abuse facility that helps people through difficult situations such as DUI's or DWI's with assessments, classes, groups, and revocation. We also offer court appointed treatments.
