Hello and welcome! I am a licensed clinical psychologist and former civil rights attorney. I help individuals ages 17 and up with depression, anxiety, trauma, major life transitions, identity exploration, and burnout. I aim to reduce symptoms and to explore the root cause of the problem for sustained wellbeing. My approach is warm, culturally informed, and creative. As needed, I weave holistic healing practices, such as mindfulness techniques, into evidence-based approaches. I am a PSYPACT provider who offers online therapy in 40+ states. I also offer in-person therapy in Arlington, Virginia. I do not currently accept insurance.

While I welcome any client who is 17+, my background makes me especially well-suited to work with certain populations: As a Harvard Law School graduate and former trial attorney, I have a unique ability to help attorneys and busy professionals with mental health, especially as it relates to workplace stress. For example, I help to treat and prevent burnout.

I also provide affirming care for members of the LGBTQIA+ community and individuals from diverse populations. As a former civil rights attorney, I have a deep understanding of the role of stigma and discrimination in creating distress. Corporate workshops are also available to promote healthy workplaces where people can thrive. We offer individual therapy sessions via telehealth in 43 states. While we provide individual therapy to all adults, we are particularly well-suited to assist attorneys and other busy professionals with workplace stress.
