As a therapist, I am passionate about helping individuals navigate challenges and rediscover their worth. Therapy is a supportive space, much like visiting a doctor for physical health. I approach each person non-judgmentally, recognizing the complexities of human nature.
My primary areas of specialty include trauma, ADHD, sex therapy, anxiety, depression, crisis, mood disorders, personality disorders, women's issues, first responders, professionals, peri/post-natal, and problematic sexual concerns/behaviors.
I approach people from a polyvagal, cognitive-behavioral, and trauma-informed lens. I offer Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing Therapy (EMDR) to assist with reprogramming your parasympathetic nervous system in a way that supports your best functioning. If you don't know what that includes, don't worry; I will be with you every step of the way.
The therapeutic relationship is a special part of our mental health and wellness journey. The topics we delve into during therapy can be more sensitive than what we might discuss with friends or family.
