Do you ever feel misunderstood? Wonder why you respond or communicate how you have been? Wondered: What is self-care, therapy, coping, and will it really help me create positive change? These are just some of the questions I have heard individuals ask. Therapy is an invitation, not just to get to know yourself but to deeply understand yourself and why we do the things we do. My approach in person centered and focused on meeting my clients where they are right now in their lives.
For the past six years I have been a CBT and Trauma focused therapist who has worked with ages three and up. I have had the privilege to work with high school students, women, men, single parents, caregivers, LGBTQIA+ individuals.
I have an understanding of different relationship styles such as Ethical-non-monogamy and polyamory. I have been able to help clients work through the challenges that come with trying to understand the terms, sort through personal feelings, self-acceptance, and “coming out” to family/friends.
