Hi! I am Nicole French. I have been a counselor for the last 15 years and have worked with some of the most diverse clients helping them to find a path toward health and mental wellness. For some this has looked like freeing themselves from old hurts, finding value in themselves again or possibly for the first time, setting healthy boundaries in various types of relationships, learning skills to manage specific symptoms like anxiety or depression, and building achievable goals in all areas of their lives.
Each client is unique and I am skilled at weaving in strategies that will work for you and help you achieve your goals. Areas that influence my style of therapy include Internal Family Systems (IFS), Eye-Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Gottman method couples therapy, cognitive behavioral strategies, and strengths based therapy.
I am authentic and real when I walk into a session and encourage you to do the same. I encourage people to have goals in therapy and to develop respect and love for their voice. I work best with those that are reflective, sensitive, and ready to make changes in their life.
