I enjoy working with pre-teens, adolescents and adults. I have a strong interest and history working with clients in high conflict relationships, intimate partner violence, intergenerational trauma, relationship issues and the LGBTQIA+ community. I also work well with adolescents and crisis. I work from a trauma informed and person centered focus to create a welcoming therapeutic environment.
In therapy, I aim to focus first on the therapeutic relationship to build trust as a catalyst to change. From there, narrative therapy, CBT, strengths-based and solution-focused all may play a part in treatment. Human beings are so diverse, so therapy should be as well - one size does not fit all!
I believe that humans are inherently good, but damn sometimes we really mess it up - and as a therapist I'm here to help you untangle life when it gets too much.
