I believe we all have the ability to make the changes we want to in our lives. At times, however, we may feel stuck, unmotivated, or unsure of how to move forward. Using a strengths based approach I enjoy supporting clients as they move through challenges to live their best and most authentic lives. I believe in client-directed therapy, meaning that you are in control. Goals are based on the client's expressed needs and concerns, and are reviewed and altered to make sure that together we are always working towards the best outcome.
I have experience working in a variety of settings with a variety of populations. I enjoy working with adults to manage anxiety, depression, ADHD, and women's issues. I am trained in CPT for trauma and PTSD, and can help process childhood and adult trauma. I also work with First Responders in the fire and EMS fields to meet the unique challenges of the job.
My approach is calm, collaborative, and strength based. I believe that the relationship between a client and therapist is an important factor in treatment success, and work hard to create a supportive and nurturing environment to do meaningful work. I enjoy working with clients to recognize their inner strengths to help facilitate real change in their lives.
