I applaud you on taking this important step in caring for yourself! Seeking help is not easy and requires hope and courage. As a psychologist for the past 19+ years, I have been privileged to share in the journey of many adults and couples as they navigate their emotions, identities and relationships. I am a 1.5 gen immigrant (Filipina), interracially married, parent to a trans son, and comfortable with complexity and nuance. I know you are more than your roles, relationships and jobs. Together we will explore how to identify what may be getting in the way of you living a life of truth and authenticity based on your core values.

I offer counseling (NY license) to adults, couples and groups with presenting concerns such as anxiety, depression, transitions, relationships, parenting gender diverse kids, evolving identity work (life roles, spirituality, sexuality, gender, racial & cultural) and intergenerational trauma. I also offer relationship, supervision & dissertation coaching.

This is a special twice-a-month support group for parents of transgender and gender expansive children and adults! As we join in our children’s journey, we also grapple with our own myriad and complex feelings, how to support and advocate for them, and how to navigate family, friends, and systems. In this group, we will give ample space for our complex and nuanced feelings as trans-parents including pride, sadness, grief, fears for their safety, joy and happiness, anger, relief, disagreement and the normative questioning of all the current norms and expectations placed upon us by society.
