You're looking for someone to help you or your loved one through a difficult time...and this is the first step! It is incredibly important to find a therapist that will be a good fit. I can provide a nonjudgmental, caring, and supportive therapeutic environment for you to grow in while we work through the issues that may be causing you, or someone you care about, discomfort or distress.
I work with individuals and families, specializing in work with children and adolescents. I use an integration of approaches and techniques that help to most effectively meet the needs of each individual client. I will often draw from a psychodynamic, client-centered, and cognitive-behavioral foundation.
I have worked in a variety of settings, including adolescent group homes and private practice. I have experience working with individuals and families in areas including anxiety, depression, anger management, ADHD, behavioral issues, and adjustment issues. I have been trained in EMDR therapy to help individuals work through past trauma.
