Therapy provides a unique opportunity to develop a safe and supportive relationship to assist in creating meaningful change. After years of training and practice I have come to realize that this change must involve a deeper healing. As human beings we experience challenges throughout our lives that can feel overwhelming and often traumatic. Without the support, skills or resources in these times we end up needing to develop short term coping strategies that may be causing long term problems. I specialize in working with adult professionals struggling with issues like perfectionism, anxiety, guilt/shame and relationship difficulties.
Together we will identify what experiences and strategies are causing you distress and work with your system to help you to heal and feel whole again. I encourage you to reach out when you feel ready to start this journey. I am taking new clients starting in January.
I hold a BA in Psychology from Stanford University and an MS in Counseling from the University of Phoenix. I am trained in a number of modalities but primarily use Deep Brain Reorienting, EMDR with Structural Dissociation theory, Mindfulness, Dialectical Behavior Therapy Skills and Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT).
