My work is guided by my passion for social justice. My Bachelor's Degree is in Gender & Sexuality Studies, and I have a Master's in Social Work from Columbia University in New York City. I have worked in homeless shelters, hospitals, schools, and community mental health centers. I love working with young adults in the LGBTQ+ community, neurodivergent folks, and survivors of sexual violence.
My approach is trauma-informed, affirming, and warm. I am trained in EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization & Reprocessing), DBT (Dialectical Behavior Therapy), CBT (Cognitive Behavior Therapy), PE (Prolonged Exposure), and Mindfulness. I am also certified in Reiki and Trauma-Informed Yoga.
Above all, I believe in the importance and power of kindness, and my main goal is for clients to feel seen, heard, and a sense of belonging. "The human in me sees the human in you." We are a team and we do this work together.
Outside of work, I love skiing, paddleboarding, fashion, and horror movies!
