About
Therapy provides a unique opportunity to develop a safe and supportive relationship to assist in creating meaningful change in your life. After years of training and practice I have come to realize that meaningful change must involve a deeper healing. As human beings we experience challenges throughout our lives that can feel overwhelming and often traumatic. Without the support, skills or resources in these times we end up needing to develop short term coping strategies that may be causing long term problems: anxiety, depression, anger, guilt, etc.
Together we will identify what experiences and strategies are causing you distress and work with your system to help you to heal and feel whole again. I encourage you to reach out when you feel ready to start this journey.
I hold a BA in Psychology from Stanford University and an MS in Counseling from the University of Phoenix. My primary training is in EMDR and Structural Dissociation for trauma related work as well as Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, and mindfulness training. I also have training in Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT),
