About
Curiosity, and a belief that we have the ability to grow, become more aligned, and be at peace with ourselves are some of my guiding values. I use an integrative approach rooted in an understanding that we meet where you are and a process unfolds from there. Continuing my training in somatic therapy, I incorporate body-focused interventions with talk therapy when desired. Working in this way makes room for deeper connections with self and others. I work best with clients that are open to discovery and prefer a less authoritative approach. I feel we can be our own healers and uncover our own truths with guidance and compassion.
I offer support for life stressors, transitions, depression, trauma, anxiety, low motivation, or difficulty in relationships. My training in Sensorimotor Psychotherapy, holding presence, DBT, MI, transpersonal psychology and psychoanalytic studies provide a foundational framework that allows for depth, structure and flow in our work together.
There’s creativity and learning that can happen in the therapeutic relationship. I’m in service to your growth and to ways of living that feel right for you. My approach is trauma-informed, social and racial justice allied, compassionate, exploratory, open and authentic. Please reach out if you’d like a consult to see if we're a good fit.
