In Truth MHC brings hope, healing, & direction to adults dealing with traumatic memories, guilt/shame, anger, grief, etc. without the bullshit. If you are looking for a therapist who's dressed to the nines, etiquette is spot-on, and is well put together, we are not your people. Move on. We're relatable, also consumers of therapy, & as true to ourselves as we'll encourage you to be to yourself. We're real with our clients and we'll challenge you to get real in your therapy. We'll work to get to know you. We believe that if we can't understand why you're doing what you're doing, then we need to work harder to know and understand you.
We'll help you accept all the parts of you, even those you find unacceptable. We'll not just quietly nod saying "MmHmm" while you spill your guts and get nothing in return. We'll have a conversation with you, laugh with you, challenge you, and even frustrate you because you deserve a therapist who is genuine, works as hard as you, and won't bullshit you.

Men's Trauma Group
Working through your past trauma with other men may sound terrifying but it is a healing experience when done under the guidance of a trained trauma therapist. If you identify as male, have not healed from past trauma, and are interested in joining a group with other men who also struggle with healing from past trauma, please reach out. This will be a 12-week, closed, skills AND process group. IN ORDER TO BE CONISERED ELIGIBLE, YOU MUST HAVE AN INDIVIDUAL THERAPIST AND YOU MUST BE ABLE TO REFRAIN FROM TALKING ABOUT THE DETAILS OF YOUR TRAUMA DURING THE GROUP SESSIONS.
