I appreciate your efforts to seek therapy and hope that this description serves as a useful introduction to my practice. My approach is client-centered, flexible, and integrative, meaning that I draw from multiple schools of theory and practice in treatment. I most frequently offer Cognitive Behavioral, Mindfulness-Based, Psychodynamic and Motivational treatments. I generally work with adults 18+, with particular interests in anxiety disorders, OCD, work-related stress and career coaching, substance use problems, learning differences, relationship difficulties, grief/bereavement counseling, and phase-of-life transitions.
I obtained my MSW from Boston College with graduate-level training at the Tufts Medical Center Department of Psychiatry. I have provided psychotherapy within community mental health, acute care, and other outpatient settings treating a range of conditions including depression, anxiety, substance use, PTSD, ADHD and learning differences.
