Whether you're wanting to work through a particular sexual issue, or wanting to generally expand your sexuality and capacity for pleasure, I can open up a safe and non-judgmental space to explore topics that may have felt very difficult to discuss in other settings. I am LGBTQ identified and affirming. Depending on your preferences, we can either dive into the past and get a better understanding of how your sexual narratives and patterns came to be, or we can stay in the present and work together to expand your capacity for pleasure, or both! I welcome individuals and couples of all sexual and gender identities.
Sexuality is an area where we've all experienced a lot of isolation and questioning. My therapist training is primarily emotion-focused and experiential, meaning that I primarily work by inviting emotion into the room and working through shame and overwhelm to improve your nervous system health and build up capacity for connection and vulnerability.
I am trained in Sex Therapy by the California Institute of Integral Studies. I have been working for over ten years as a therapist in New York and California. If using insurance, my office accepts many PPO and POS plans, but keep in mind we are out of network. We'll submit your claims for you and lower your fee when you reach deductible.
