I deeply believe that we humans all have an internal voice that is at times worried, critical, and even hopeless. My therapeutic approach involves acknowledging and working with these parts of ourselves, rather than silencing or eliminating them. I specialize in treating professionals (e.g., individuals in medicine, law, tech), and I have comfort working with anxiety, depression, and PTSD. I also enjoy helping people navigate life stressors, such as parenting. I have extensive experience working with racial and sexual minorities. I help people learn to sit with their feelings, develop self-compassion, and establish healthy habits.
I believe a strong relationship between myself and my patient is the foundation for productive work together. I meet my patients with humility and warmth. I also strive to provide direct and honest feedback in the service of promoting growth. In addition to using inquiry to build insight, I introduce skills that have been researched and shown to help people.
I admire the courage and commitment that it takes to self-reflect and change, whether that takes place in a therapy setting or not! If you believe I may be a good fit as a therapist for you, I welcome you to reach out to me. If not, I appreciate you taking the time to visit my profile and I wish you all the best in your mental health journey.
