I am a seasoned Clinical Social Worker who has worked with teens, young adults and families for nearly 20 years. I am skilled at developing meaningful relationships with people struggling to navigate a range of complex personal issues - including mood instability, family rupture, addiction, grief and concerns associated with life's many transitions. I ably adjust to the specific needs and concerns of each client with whom I work and adapt my clinical interventions accordingly. Utilizing an authentically person-centered approach, I work centrally through the power of relationship and connection and a belief in the resilience of my clients.
Utilizing an attachment and narrative-based approach in my work with clients, I guide the clinical process by way of exploring and challenging my client's defeating personal stories. I hold a deep belief in human resilience and seek to empower the emergence of a new and positive personal tale.
I am able to offer EMDR, music therapy and creative and experiential modes of engaging my clients.
