About
Hi, I'm Nici, and I'm glad you are here. I started Crown of Hope Counseling after six years of experience as a chaplain at a trauma level one hospital, feeling utter heartbreak at never knowing how the grieving individuals I served were coping after the immediate grief season. Grief extends far beyond the few days after loss, and I am passionate about walking with you on the journey to healing and hope. I believe in wholeheartedly continuing the legacy of the ones who have passed. Their death is not a period, but a comma— A story that continues to unfold with an abundance of love.
Grief never looks the same for any two people, and grief support should and will be tailed to your individual needs because grief is not a ‘by-the-book’ process. Grief is a process, not an event, and it’s my purpose work to join you in the process through out-of-the-box counseling combined with a biblical worldview and integrative approach.
There is no right or wrong way to experience grief. But you don’t have to do it alone. Crown of Hope Counseling offers a sacred space to be heard as you navigate your grief on creative pathways. I want to help you navigate the terrain of your grief, to honor the legacy of that which you have lost, and to hear you in your heartache.
