I work with children, adolescents, teens, adults, families and couples with a preference for children, teens and adolescents of divorce. For kids, I focus on play therapy as well as interactive sessions with parents to incorporate new family dynamics to change reoccurring challenges within the home. Along with kids, working with families and couples on their relational boundaries as well as there communication styles is another area speciality. By using Cogntive Behavioral Therapy with my client focused sessions, individuals are able to change their destructive and negative thinking to create healthy thinking skills.
I have worked within the court system to provide information from play therapy session for children who are experiencing signs of distress due to adjustments within the family dynamics. Understanding a kids communication through play and incorporating parenting skills, I help families learn to dual parent.
I use creative mindfulness techniques to proactively change how people perceive how they interact with others and the world around them.
