About
Therapy is a deeply transformative process involving intense exploration and reflection of values, convictions, experiences, and deep-seated beliefs. We will work to create alignment between your internal and external worlds, thereby helping you to build a more solid self-experience. We will uncover barriers to healthy interpersonal relationships and create space to develop, redefine, and reestablish such relationships. Together, we will also celebrate your strengths, utilizing those qualities to navigate change and uncertainty. It takes courage to ask for the help you deserve and I commend you for taking this necessary step.
I approach the therapeutic process with unconditional respect, care, and compassion. As an integrative therapist, my collaborative approach draws upon evidenced-based interventions, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and incorporates interpersonal, behavioral, and mindfulness approaches.
I received my Psy.D. in Clinical Psychology from the American School of Professional Psychology. I have extensive experience in individual, family, and group psychotherapy, as well as crisis intervention, psychodiagnostic testing, program development and monitoring, and nicotine and marijuana research at NIDA.
