About
My practice involves working with individuals and families across the life span, in both outpatient and hospital-based settings. In addition to providing psychotherapy, I also do comprehensive diagnostic, psychological, and educational assessments for individuals and families. Further, I routinely consult with parents and teachers to better address the needs of students, in accordance with a thorough evaluation of their individual strengths and weaknesses.
My work includes both long- and short-term, or problem-focused treatment modalities. I emphasize a strong commitment to developing a collaborative, working partnership with my clients, focused on helping individuals better understand and articulate their unique needs and concerns, whereupon one might effectively cultivate lasting change.
I value the role of the psychotherapist as not only affording individuals an opportunity to resolve personal and relational conflict, but also as a means to promote and nurture self-awareness and overall mental and physical well-being.
