Nick primarily utilizes cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) and solution focused therapy techniques when working with individuals. CBT allows individuals to gain an understanding of how their thoughts, behaviors, and emotions are connected to help a person gain an understanding of how to regulate their own emotions. When working with couples and families, Nick primarily utilizes techniques that aim to create a better understanding of one another's needs, implementing new communication patterns to resolve conflicts and prevent conflicts from arising, and remove barriers that lead to feelings of stagnation.
