About

I recognize how difficult it can be to take that first step towards seeking help for problems of everyday life. However, this small leap of faith can yield tremendous benefits, particularly when you find a therapist that matches well with your individual needs. Above all else I believe it is vital that any therapeutic relationship be based on compassion and respect. It is my responsibility to create this environment for the individuals I treat so that together we can broaden our understanding of the problems and work towards solutions.
I am a New York State licensed clinical psychologist with experience treating adults, adolescents, children, and families with diverse backgrounds and problems. I employ Cognitive Behavioral interventions, but place particular emphasis on the interpersonal nature of problems.
