I received my Bachelors in Psychology from Friends University and my advanced degree as a Master in Social Work from WSU. For more than 20 years, I have worked with people to help them better their lives. My experience includes diverse populations in various community settings including corrections, adolescence, private practice, both inpatient and outpatient substance use treatment, inpatient psychiatric, and outpatient mental health.
I have training in Motivational Interviewing, Trauma Informed Care, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, and SMART Recovery. I have worked with a variety of issues, including addiction and life transitions. In addition to being a Licensed Specialist Clinical Social Worker (LSCSW), I am also a Licensed Clinical Addiction Counselor (LCAC).
