Depression sucks. The lack of motivation, apathy, fatigue, sleep difficulties, irritability and chronic negative voice that just won’t seem to go away. If you are struggling with suicidal ideation, self-harming thoughts and are struggling to find hope, I’m here to say you are not alone and you can feel better. I help adolescents and adults who experience depressive symptoms, including suicidal thoughts, to learn how to alleviate these thoughts and/or healthily cope with them. As a person who has struggled with mental health issues in the past, I look forward to giving back and helping others work through their struggles.
In our sessions we will work to identify measurable goals and what a pleasurable life looks like for you. We will work through past hurts to improve self-esteem, re-engage in new and old activities, improve interpersonal relationships, improve physical and mental wellness, and foster a positive sense of self and independence.
