We are all deeply impacted by a variety of factors. Our upbringing. Our experiences. Genetics and biology. Culture, race, ethnicity and gender. Who we may have lost in our lives. Our physical abilities and/or limitations. These components and more have worked to create over 8 billion unique individuals. What factors have impacted you? What has helped you to thrive and survive? What creates worry or dread? What contributes to feelings of heaviness or being out of sorts? These are some of the questions that will be instrumental in how we approach therapy together.
I’ve worked in mental health in a variety of roles for close to 20 years. I’ve been trained in several therapies that I draw from and that assist me on individualizing therapy for each person. I’ve also had a wealth of life experiences that I draw from that helps me to connect with people in a way that is grounded and genuine.
Therapy is a collaborative experience. One where we will look together at all of the parts that make you who you are. How to make those parts work in a way that feels balanced and enduring. Finding strategies to open doors that will bring insight and awareness to long held difficulties you may have faced. If this resonates with you, please do reach out.
