I am an interactive therapist with a passion for working with relational/attachment trauma and postpartum/reproductive mental health. If you've experienced events that have overturned dreams, disrupted relationships, and brought waves of grief, loss, and confusion...whether years in the making or brand new... relational or reproductive trauma can have a huge impact on daily life function and relationships. I am a little irreverent, a lot empathetic, and ready to support clients who want to find, or get back to, their healthiest self.

The perinatal season and first responder field can be gratifying yet also introduce enormous changes in family dynamics and relationships. Whether a new parent or first responder, experiencing tragedy personally and or secondarily, expectations for a new mother or first responder can be high and too often dismissive of the unique stressors involved with making a new human or in the field. When unpredicted changes happen, people can feel alone, isolated, and afraid to give voice to their vulnerabilities. I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor with extensive experience in working with the perinatal and first responder population.

You hold it all together for everyone else, but inside you're exhausted. Maybe you're the caregiver, the helper, the responsible one. You find yourself anxious, overwhelmed, disconnected from your body, or wondering why life feels so hard even though you're doing everything "right." You may be carrying the effects of chronic stress, past experiences, people-pleasing, or years of putting your own needs last. Whether you're navigating anxiety, chronic stress, relationship challenges, or the long-term effects of past experiences, this work is about helping you return to yourself.
Therapy can be a place to finally put some of that down.

My main methodology is Dan Allender's Narrative Focused Trauma Care (NFTC), but I am also influenced by trauma-focused and attachment-based frameworks such as Interpersonal Neurobiology (IPNB), polyvagal theory, and Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT).
I help men find freedom from pornography and other sexually compulsive behaviors. My specialty is working with men who really want to dig deeply into their story and understand the "why" beneath their addictive behaviors. I also help clients attend to other forms of compulsive behavior, such as screens, social media, or even work. My goal is to help men engage their anxious or avoidant tendencies and develop healthy relationships with others. Upon request, I am able to integrate insights from a Christian worldview with evidence-based therapeutic techniques to help clients pursue a life of freedom and integrity.
